Choosing to head south after growing up in the snowy Erie, PA area, 2nd grade teacher Marilyn Jones, brings a wealth of experience to Nittany Christian where she has been teaching since 1994.  Marilyn didn’t really think about teaching until she was encouraged to pursue

this career after being observed by a professor when she taught an AWANA program in her church.

A favorite memory for Marilyn is the time the strap on her cymbal broke when she was playing in her high school drum line.  The cymbal went rolling down a steep hill behind the band, chased by her Dad.  Now you are more likely to find Marilyn reading a good historical fiction novel, listening to music or in choir practice.
